Stella fully supports her husband when he leaves on a peace mission to Uruzgan. Stella's brother Twan is also there. During a patrol Twan gets killed in an ambush. And this is just the beginning of Stella's nightmare. Jurre comes home a lot earlier than originally planned but he's acting strange, he isn't approachable and withdraws from his friends. He doesn't want any help.
What started as a peace mission turns into a war. Not in Uruzgan, but in the desert of Stella's own living room.
