Jerry lives next to a power station in New Jersey. His best friend Mike lives and works across the street in a video store. Jerry is convinced his headaches are caused by the power plant and he spends a substantial amount of his time on planning to sabotage the plant. When he finally executes his plan, the unfortunate Jerry becomes magnetised and unintentionally erases all the tapes in Mike's store. In order to prevent Mike's boss from finding out they decide to act in and record their own version of the movies. The highly amateur but hilariously funny versions become a huge success and the two friends are instant world celebs in their very own neighbourhood.
