THIS IS SPINAL TAP PARTY

This is Spinal Tap is a hilarious fake-documantary about the fictional rock group "Spinal Tap". The film covers a United States concert tour for "Spinal Tap" to promote their new album Smell the Glove. The band's heydays are way over but the band members are yet to realise that. This Is Spinal Tap was only a modest success upon its initial release, suffering from, among other things, the failure of many viewers to understand that it was not a real documentary. Audience feedback cards from early screenings had comments such as "Too shaky. Get new cameraman." However, the film found greater success, and a cult-following after it was released on video. This Is Spinal Tap is listed on the best 100 comedy's list of the American Film Institute.

 

So, what party can you expect?
The movie of course, on a big screen with all amps up to eleven. A DJ playing seventies and eighties (hard)rock. A hard-rock quiz. Two contests: playing the air-guitar (if you want to compete, mail to moniekuniek@mail.com) and a best dressed-contest. Hell yeah, you can bring a cucumber! And did we mention beer?
